Ok so as you know I have been very fortunate to get the very first ever set of pinheads new cuffs, and as he said I was like a kid in a sweetshop when I got them on my stilts and finally got to try them.
Initial impressions,  they are superbly made and I got to see pin at work creating some also, he is a master on the machine and takes the greatest pride in his work, so much so I tell him over and over that he isn’t charging enough for what he is putting into them, but he is adamant that he will just cover the materials .
There is a lot that goes into the cuffs in way of materials, it was very surprising to see the raw templates and just how many there were for each cuff.
You can adjust the cuffs in 2 obvious ways, firstly you have the front strap system , 4 loops to double through then Velcro to seal, over kill? Maybe, easy to get tight and secure? Most defiantly.
But that’s the point of pins mods, to be the best and this is something I feel he has achieved once again.
Then you have long Velcro panels at the back which can also be adjusted, although ive not yet seen the need to do so.
From the very start I had problems with knee bars, I couldn’t get the straps tight enough, then I found some mint straps  with the best buckles I have ever seen, but they were thin and so too tight or pinched half the time and I had to wear tubigrips If I wanted to wear shorts.
I did get to try the poweriser cuffs at my first meet  and thought then that cuffs were the way forward, although the riser cuffs seemed to have a pivot on them, which made them feel unsafe to some degree, although Im sure you would get used to it.
With the phat cuffs they have the exact same secure feel as a bar and a great set of straps , but theres more spread on contact areas.
The pads that come with them have eliminated any chaffing or pinching, I have bocked in my shorts, with no tubigrips and they felt wonderful,  with or without kneepads
Today being there biggest test while I worked 6 hours on my stilts, they passed with flying colours.
They were comfortable and stable all day, and they really made bocking more enjoyable than its been in a long time, it’s a rare thing at times to put your stilts on for a long time and nothing start to hurt you.
I am also fully confident in the security, neo ninja can vouch that I put them through a good testing today, and I actually felt more confident today wearing them, and that always shows in your bocking.
I have filmed some footage of me tricking around with them on, which I will be posting tomorrow once I get round to editing it, how I love editing [/sarcasm]
I feel theres more I should say about them but I doubt most people have made it past the wall of text already, so ill wrap up buy saying thank you to pinhead.
These are what cuffs should be, im honestly proud to be rocking them, I cant wait for the other fortunate few to get theres and tell everyone what they think.
I would put money on them getting nothing but praise.

yesterday Pinhead and i went to Great Barr leisure centre in Birmingham with the view of finding us a permanent home in the city, after having a chat with them we managed to secure not just great barr gym, but perry beeches leisure centres gym also.
so pending a visit to perry beeches this week an a bit more bartering over prices and times, sky high now have a choice of gyms.
we are considering using both gyms, at different times of the week until one of them really shines over the other, at which point we will block book sessions at our favorite of the gyms.
Gym session dates will be plastered all over the net as soon as we have them and everyone is welcome to come along, old and new members, and the other bocking groups will be welcome to attend obviously.

ok then people, we have had a nice christmas and new year i hope, i know i for one ate and drank way more than i should have.
On sunday 8th of February Pinhead, k-rock drunken and myself are going to chat to a couple of gym managers.
we had a big set back through the winter in our winter hide away, which we never got to use for various reasons.
so we are on a mission this sunday to find a friendly gym in birmingham, the few we have already been in contact with have been dragging their feet so to speak and i know its hard for a lot of the new members to make the alan higgs centre over in coventry.
We need to get the group together to welcome these new members we have got over the holiday period, and to catch up with each other as its been way to long since some of us bocked together.

Hey guys and girls, it’s dynamo here just to let you all know we have a new member from hatton he’s a friend from my college and is very very very enthusiastic about bocking lol.
He is also doing this as part of his Duke of Edinbrugh gold course.
His name is euan morton and im sure we will sort out a nickname for him soon =]
im organising a gym meet at the alan higgs center soon i just have to have some spare minutes to phone them up or get to the center, i really want to make this a weekly thing for the winter as otherwise i don’t think ill be bocking much due to the COLD lol and the wet weather.

im still unsure if ill be able to bock there or not but i will be there to support the event and any of our team who are able to bock.

it’s got no planned event this saturday so we should have the whole place to ourselves. we can move around to different spots i just thought this would be a good place to meet if you find the big ikea building look for the coventry city arcade which is a small amount of shops undercover then follow that through and it will lead you to sheldon square there is only one way to go through the arcade so you wont get lost. if you come the otherway and end up near a fountain follow the bhs sign towards a small corner shop under what looks like a big block of flats there should be a woolworths on your right if you go past that you will see sheldon square if you get lost or think you might pm me and ill give you my mobile mumber. soul rancher im not sure if i can help getting here from where you are but as soon as you get near ikea i can lol. here is a zoomed out picture of sheldon square with where we are going to meet in the red circle with all three ways to get to it marked with small red lines.

I think i’ts time Sky high got our act together! We’re all doing well on our own, but when are we going to meet up? We need another epic session to show everybody what we’re all about.

Drunkenstuntman landed his first outdoor flip today, he even threw a 90 degree spin into it landing sideways!!!

Well done B you had about 30 spectators and smashed that flip nice!
